A 3-ply Engineered wood plank is composed of 3 layers, a Base layer, a Core layer, and a Wear Layer.
The Base layer is usually made from a durable plywood, the Core layer is made of a softwood and the Wear layer is made of a wood species of your choice.
A 3-Ply Engineered is better with underfloor heating, due to less dense layers heat comes threw faster than a Multiply.

A Multiply Engineered wood plank contains multiple layers of plywood for additional strength and durability.

A click system is a much easier way to install a floor and especially suited to DIY due to each plank clicking into place which also means no glue required.
Click's are usually easier to be uplifted and re-fitted if required.
Tongue and Grooves can be installed directly to the sub-floor without underlay maintaining a more solid feel underfoot.
